Senior English 4/10/17 How do you chose pieces of the play to include in your scene? How do you turn it into something that would happen in Okanogan? Why does a chicken coupe have two doors? Sloomy – sluggish, spiritless, dull. Goals – Refocus our efforts on the Hamlet interpretation. Character and critical lens in a modern context. Discuss Make-up final. Homework – Work on script for Hamlet adaptation. Study for make-up final. Because if it had four doors it would be a sedan.

Senior English 4/11/17 Describe the character you will be representing in your scene. What will they represent in terms of the theme and lens? What can you hold without ever touching it? Shacklety – a building that is about to fall down. Goals – Work on scripts for your scene. Make sure of the thematic connections to Hamlet. Homework – Get your own role finsished. A conversation.

Senior English 4/12/17 Write on a subject of your choice related to your scene adaptation. What country makes you shiver? Whale – to strike vigorously. “Jeb whaled on his cousin Jake.” Goals – Begin writing and rehearsing your adaptation. Homework – None. Chile

Senior English 4/13/17 What do you think will be the strength of your adaptation? What will be the weakness? What did one elevator say to the other? Hesh – short for “he and she.” Not widely accepted. Goals – Print and rehearse your completed adaptation? Discuss technical difficulties. Homework – Practice, practice, practice! I think I’m coming down with something.

Senior English 4/14/17 What is still left to do to be able to present your adaptation? When will you get it done? How? What did one magnet say to the other? Hirm – short for “him or her.” Not widely accepted. Goals – Schedule group presentations for next Monday through Wednesday. Homework – Do whatever it takes to finalize your adaptation. I find you very attractive.
