The Lote Tree Foundation /MYCC Overview and Objectives
The Lote Tree Foundation was initially founded in 2003 after the return of Shaikh Zahir and Umm Bilal from their 7-year Classical Islamic Studies abroad in Syria. It was then formally registered as a Not-For-Profit Charitable Organization in 2005 as a Project of Muslim Youth and Community Center (MYCC). It was created to serve the Community through the establishment of an Islamic Learning and Resource Centre using Classical Methodologies. Since 2003, the Foundation has been increasingly providing the community with such services as: Full-time/Part-time Children’s Islamic School Children’s Arabic Immersion Programs with Homeschooling Assistance Traditional Islamic Adult Classes Dawah Outreach Programs Counselling Services

Lote Tree Foundation /MYCC Overview and Objectives
In response to community needs, The Lote Tree Foundation seeks to establish a facility in North East Brampton. This facility would provide for greater accessibility and expand upon the Foundation’s existing services. Planned opening: Summer 2007.

A Multi-Purpose Learning Centre providing for the needs of the Muslim Community Full-time/Part-time Islamic School Arabic Immersion Integrated with Secular Studies Islamic Studies taught by Qualified Scholars Assisted Home-Schooling Program Managed by a qualified program coordinator Meeting point for homeschooling parents Early Childhood Program For children aged 2-5 Adult Islamic Classes Library / Educational Resources
