Husbands:  Nelson Davis (m. 1869–1888), John Tubman (m. 1844–1851)
Children: Gertie Davis
Worked: fields, lumberjack, laundress, nurse, and stove

3. The leader’s cause Harriet Tubman escaped slavery in 1849.
She became leading abolitionist.
Her nickname is « the moise of black people » because she led hundreds of enslaved people to freedom along the route of the Underground Railroad.
She dedicate her life to freedom.

She released 300 slaves.
She receive honours military.
