On posters, identify examples of Family Engagement vs Family Involvement. Come up with group definitions of both. 10 minutes Have groups share out and create a Master List (Alternately, this can be done as a sort of activities as engagement vs involvement)

15 minutes In groups, participants identify examples, challenges, and results of each part of Epstein’s framework (par down to align to district initiatives). Have them gallery walk around the room and add to posters 10-15 minutes Gallery walk through the posters. Discuss BEST PRACTICES and what works, keep a list so that participants have an arsenal of ideas to take away with them. As participants share out, plug in ways Lakeshore can support them.
