3
What is it? A flow and temperature meter
Part of the Lindab Safe system (U-gasket)

Products Monitor Sensor Display
5
Monitor, FTMU Flow and temperature meter with safe-gasket
Sensor body with Lindab Safe gaskets. Two flow sensors are mounted on the sensor body and connected to a display unit.
6
Monitor, FTMU Connection to a computer
The monitor can be connected to an RTU (remote terminal unit) via RS485 communication, the RTU can then be connected to a computer via TCP/IP Modbus.
7
Monitor, FTMU Connection terminal board
24V, power supply (AC/DC) GND, ground +B, connection for ModBus according to RS485 -A, connection for ModBus according to RS485 SH, shield AO1, analogue output AO2, analogue output AIN, (not used in this version) MO1, (not used in this version) MO2, (not used in this version)
8
Monitor, FTMU Connection in series
Connect A on the RTU to -A on the monitor and B to +B. When connecting more than one monitor in series it is important to keep connecting A to A and B to B since crossing them will stop Modbus from working.
9
Monitor, FTMU Display parameters
The standard setting for the display shows the air flow in m3/h. Press the mode button to change the displayed parameter. Arrow indicates the current parameter. The following parameters can be shown: Air flow (m3/h) Air flow (l/s) Air velocity (m/s) Temperature (°C) (Four different set points will be shown but they are not to be used in this version.) Monitor’s ID number

Sensor, FTSU and Display, FTD Flow and temperature sensor with safe-gasket
The sensor consists of a sensor body with Lindab Safe gaskets. Two flow sensors are mounted on the sensor body and can be connected to a Display via an USB cable which is attached to the flow sensors.
12
Sensor, FTSU and Display, FTD
The sensor can be connected to a display via the double USB cable on the sensor.
