Homework Homework is given when I think it is necessary.
It counts as 15% of the nine-week grade. Homework assignments are checked/collected at the beginning of the class period and are due the day after it was assigned (unless the teacher instructs otherwise). NO HOMEWORK IS ACCEPTED LATE UNLESS THE STUDENT WAS ABSENT OR IF PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE TEACHER WAS GRANTED. If you do not turn in homework, you will receive a negative mark in Class Dojo.
19
I have been absent now what??
When you are absent, you are to go to the absent bin and find the date that you were not in class. There will be papers in the folder for you to complete at home. A student has 1 day to make up any work for every 1 day missed. Don’t forget to turn it in to the make-up work bin on my desk.

Late Work NO late work will be accepted unless there is a valid reason or a parent/guardian sent an excuse letter

1. Set up your privacy folder 2. Wait quietly as the tests are being handed out 3. Leave your test face down until given permission to begin 4. When you’re finished quietly set your test to the side and I will grade it in front of you 5. Begin “finished” activity

BRAIN BREAK!!!

Hallway Procedures No talking at any time while in the hallway. This will help to not disturb any other classes in the building. Stay in the 3rd block. Keep your hands and belongings to yourself. Remember: 3rd block, facing the front, and silent.
26
Restroom Breaks Each class is given designated restroom times.
Talking in the hall during the restroom break may result in a student losing their restroom privilege If a student needs to use the restroom not during these assigned times, they may do so but ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY. If a student has a medical reason for using the restroom more frequently, a doctor’s note will need to be brought to the teacher and school nurse to be kept on file.
27
Need to get something? RAISE YOUR HAND
Do not get up out of your seat unless you raise your hand and I say it is ok, this includes when we work in groups
28
Do you have a note to give me, tardy slip, or just have a question?
Put it in the bin labeled INBOX on my desk. Do not forget to turn your tardy slips in when you are late.
