JCA programmes are linked to the Key Stages 3 of the National Curriculum. The standard Action and Adventure programme offers the opportunity to cover aspects of: PE PSHE Literacy Science Geography Citizenship Design & Technology Numeracy

Daily Activities We will be split into 8 groups and will carry out a range of activities which include: -gladiator wall -abseiling -laser conquest -buggy building -tunnelling/vortex -team challenges There are also evening activities which include a mini Olympics and a silent disco! On site there is also a tuck/gift shop.

We will be split over two buildings, Hodnet and Pottage
The Dorms range from 8-12 beds. We have chosen rooms for students based on the activity groups they have chosen. Senior JCA Staff Members are on duty until 10:30pm each day with Night Staff patrolling between the hours of 10:30pm and 07:30am. Centre doors are secured in the evening, they can be opened in case of emergency and security barriers guard the entrance to the site. We will be split over two buildings, Hodnet and Pottage

You will need: Other -Towels Clothes -Toothbrush -Night wear
-Toothpaste -Sponge/facecloth -Soap / Shower gel -Hair products i.e. shampoo/conditioner -Hair ties (for long hair) -Sun cream -Water Bottle -Hat/Sunglasses -Pocket money no more than £10 Clothes -Night wear -Underwear -Pairs of socks (including plenty of spares) -Trousers (It is important that the students do not wear jeans whilst doing the activities for safety and comfort reasons) -Shorts -T-Shirts -Jumper/sweatshirt -Waterproof jacket -Waterproof trousers or trousers that can get muddy -Disco clothes -Trainers or other substantial footwear, plus extra to get wet/dirty

Day of departure Mobile phones
Students need to arrive at 10am to register. Please ensure there is a label on students’ luggage. We will stop off for a picnic on the way at Dale End Park, please provide a packed lunch for your child as there is no facility to buy food on route. Mobile phones Normal school rules will apply to mobile phones, they are not to be used during activities, if students wish to take photographs they should bring a camera. They are students responsibility, they may wish to leave them at home as there is little to no signal at Condover hall, updates of students location and activities will be done via The Thomas Alleynes Twitter account.
