2. Male dress code violations
NO unbuttoned shirts
NO oversize baggy pants - Pant leg not to exceed 5” extended from leg
NO clothing sizes will match the bodies on which they are worn. •
Belts or trousers must be worn at the waist line. Pants are to be secured at the waist, using a belt or suspenders.

3. Male dress code violations
Undershirts cannot be worn as an outer garments.
Tank tops or muscles shirts must have a strap of 3” or more

4. Male dress code violations
Pants cannot be worn so that waist line would expose several inches (3"+) of underwear or flesh below normal waist line.

5. Male dress code violations
Clothing with wording, pictures, that promote alcohol, the occult, tobacco, drugs, profanity, sexually suggestive, gang affiliation or are defamatory of any individual or group.

Strapless or spaghetti straps not allowed. No off the shoulder tops
Rule: you must have at least a 3 inch strap or the outfit has a sweater, jacket or shawl to cover it.

8. Female Dress Code Violations
Low cut tops is considered restricted attire.
Your clothing must cover the midriff.
To test it: raise your arms, if the top moves up and exposes the midriff, top is too short.

9. Female Dress Code Violations
Shorts, dress and skirts hems must be a appropriate length. To check proper length place your arm extended along the side of your body, your fingertips must be able to touch the hem of your shorts, skirt, or dress.

10. Additional inappropriate clothing for ALL GHS Students
Clothing, bandanas, or other articles which are considered gang related.
Military type buckles with initials and/or belts with dangling ends
Steel-toed shoes or boots are not allowed. Recommend appropriate shoes to be worn.
Jewelry or accessories that could be used as a weapon (e.g. wallet chains, studded articles)
Hats/caps and head gear may be worn outside school buildings.
Sunglasses are not allowed to be worn in the classroom. If sunglasses have a doctor’s prescription that is allowed.
