All families/guests will enter through Gates 3 & 5.
These Gates are wheelchair accessible, but
NO wheelchairs or handicap transportation are
provided.
Gates will open between 10:15 and 10:30 AM for guests.
No Strollers or Flowers allowed in Stadium

Parking at Tropicana Field is $10 per Vehicle
Graduates and Guests park in the Main Parking Lot.
To avoid traffic delays- leave early and consider car pooling.

Student Rights
Student Responsibilities
…the right to a dignified ceremony worthy of recognizing the effort that has been applied in achieving graduation status.
…the right to be properly recognized before family and friend without interference from any source.
…shall abide by ALL rules of dress and conduct as developed by the school.
…shall avoid behavior that would cause discomfort or embarrassment to any other graduate or to the family of a graduate.
…shall follow directions given by ANY staff member.

You must sign the Students Rights and Responsibilities agreement to participate in the 2017 Commencement Ceremony.
There are 2 copies in your packet.
1 copy for you to keep
The 2nd copy you will sign and turn in when you collect your cap and gown today.

Dress Code
Leave purse, sunglasses, cell phones, cameras, and hats (except for graduation cap) in your car or with your family. Items confiscated will need to be picked up at SHS on Thursday.
You may NOT decorate your hats.

DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION
Students will have 15 minutes to pick up their diplomas and exit through upper Gate 6.
If students do not collect their diplomas at graduation, they will need to pick them up at SHS.
Students with financial obligations to Seminole High School will not receive their diplomas until their obligations are met.
Please plan in advance where to meet your family after the ceremony. Remember, you will not have your phone.

Be careful you DON’T loose your tassel. We do NOT have replacement items. They cost $11.

20. Today’s proceses
Guidance Counselors will distribute cap & gowns according to your last name.
Line up in the aisles.
Turn the following items in to the box at the cap and gown tables:
Signed Student Code of Conduct
Name Card.
Pick up your cap & gown.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Do NOT iron!. Put in dryer with damp cloth on low heat.
