Media versatility | Any standard paper with in line priming
High Glossy Coated gsm Versatile duplex/simplex priming Water-based primer - Primer 060 Anilox controlled priming rolls Inline priming unit enables virtually unlimited media at a marginal cost From 40 to 350 gsm (1.6 – 20 Pt. , 40 – 500 µm) Flexibility by separating Flexo system for each paper’s side Uncoated Recycled
25
Economics | High coverage jobs
Flat cost per page regardless of Ink coverage By analyzing many job baskets from different segments, we can see a break-even point between Indigo and Inkjet. This point is around 40% ink coverage. When running EPM on the Indigo.

Front-to-back registration
Closed loop control system Exact print location of ±125 micron In order to maintain a precise image placement between both sides, the Indigo has an integrated closed loop control system. This is based on an advanced algorithm mechanism and dynamic sensors array, and works to in such a way that correct image placement on the fly. Front to Back Integrity.
29
Engine to engine color consistency
Based on spectrophotometer calibration, uniformity calibration and CCC In order to maintain a precise color match between both sides Second engine spectrophotometer calibration process to match first engine’s spectrophotometer readings
30
Color Automated tools guarantees standard-matching color accuracy and consistency Ability to match to color standards is becoming a key differentiator to our customers

Comprehensive production line tailored to customer requirements
Indigo is a customization project which involves GBU SAP team Schedule – lead time of a finishing solution varies: 3 – 8 months (per configuration) Requirements – providing a PQD (Prospect Qualification Document) as early as possible in the sale cycle Process – SAP team works in collaboration with sales, customer and with the finishing solution provider to define and to integrate the required solution per customer needs Commercial aspects – between customer and finishing solution provider is managed directly between both ends (such as: pricing, post sales support, reference sales, etc.)

The Indigo 50000 A class of its own
Built and based upon Indigo W7250, Indigo and the Indigo technology, the Indigo is taking a big leap into the high volume production while yet maintaining Indigo’s established quality leadership in the digital print industry. Like its predecessor, the Indigo will be the choice of PSP’s that have high volume production needs as well as quality prints, with diverse paper and sensitivity for cost per page. PSP’s will be able to offer designers the freedom of using smallest fonts and brand designs with any color they need for all kind of jobs and paper and the prints will look exactly as they dared to imagine. Indigo’s most productive press offering Indigo quality and economies of scale. This new transformational product enables you to produce Digitally what today is produced only via offset, by the oversized B1 duplex roll-fed press, which meet the needs of large print service providers for high coverage creative designs on virtually any type of paper.
43
Solutions Glossary Book Blocks production loose leaf – Cutting and slitting solutions that process a continues web into cut pages and stack the pages to form book blocks. Offset stacking feature allow for separation between the book blocks MonoChrom support – Some of the solution support paper processing of monochrome jobs at the full speed of the press. The feature is important for customers that have high volume of monochrome jobs. Solution that does not support monochrome dictate the press to run at a spec of 2/2 separations. Book blocks production signatures – Signature is a folded sheet that contain multiple pages. The imposition is such that after folding the pages are in sequence. Some solutions fold the web and cut it into signatures that are collected to form a book block Sheeters – sheeters are cutters that cut the web into B1 or B2 sheets and collect them either on a simple conveyor or a stacker Chip out cutting – in order to cut the two consecutive sheets to the final trim size, a cutter need to hit twice and cut two adjacent cuts.
