Incidentally noted is a benign exophytic subserosal uterine leiomyoma superior and anterior to the uterine fundus (dashed arrows). The leiomyoma is showing the typical MRI features of benign leiomyoma, generally a well-defined mass arising from the myometrium (arrowheads) and enhancing as much or slightly less on T1 FS postcontrast image (B). Leiomyomas are usually hypointense to the myometrium on T2 weighted sequence as seen in image (C).
