2. Objectives
Year 1
I can read, write and understand number statements using + and =.
I can use number bonds and matching subtraction facts up to 20 e.g. 7+3=10.
I can add one digit and two digit numbers to 20.
I can answer problems that use addition including missing number problems, using objects and pictures.
Year 2
I can solve problems with addition, including those involving numbers, quantities and measure.
I can use addition facts to 20 to work out similar facts to 100. E.g. 2+8= =100
I can add a two-digit number and a one-digit number in my head.
I can add a multiple of ten to a given two-digit number in my head.
I can add 2 two-digit numbers in my head.
I can add 3 one-digit numbers in my head.
I can show that adding 2 numbers can be done in any order but subtraction cannot.
I can remember doubles and halves up to 20.
I can solve missing number problems using addition and subtraction.
