Why should you implement a Preventive Maintenance Program?

5 General Prevention Read the Owner’s Manual and follow recommendations.
Perform Daily Maintenance before operating the tractor. Check the tractor for damage and potential failures before operation.

6 General Prevention Allow the engine to warm up to operating temperature before use. Watch the instrument panel for indications of trouble. Follow service recommendations and keep the tractor properly serviced.

7 General Prevention Never overload the tractor and operate the tractor only as it was designed to be used. Do not snap or pop the clutch. Do not spin the tractor tires.

8 General Prevention Never operate the tractor on hard surfaces with the differential locked. Prepare the tractor properly for prolonged storage.

10 Service Intervals Maintenance intervals on tractors are measured in operational hours or calendar intervals. Follow manufacturer’s recommendations. Keep proper maintenance records for each tractor.

It is best to follow Manufacturer’s recommendations for your particular tractor. General Service Intervals are: Daily ( Every 10 hours) Weekly ( Every 50 hours Monthly ( Every 250 hours) Bi-monthly ( Every 500 hours) Annually ( Every 1000 hours) All service intervals are cumulative times!
