Requirements for New Customers
Must be the homeowner or homeowner’s spouse Renter’s don’t stay in one place very long. Must be a new ADT customer Current or recently cancelled (90 days) ADT customers are not eligible to be signed up Must pass a routine credit check ADT requires new customers to have a 600 beacon score or higher. The homeowner whose credit is used MUST be the account holder and the person who signs the paperwork. Must have the system monitored for 36 months In order to give the equipment away for free, ADT requires that the customer sign a 36 month agreement and keep their yard sign in the yard for 36 months of advertising. Almost all security companies require an agreement. Many have 5 year agreements! ADT’s remains one of the shortest at only 36 months. Cannot be a commercial property The dealership business focuses on residential properties only.

ADT Security System 101 For a security system to be monitored, it must be able to communicate with the monitoring station (ADT). The security system can communicate with ADT’s monitoring stations via Cellular (GSM) or Land-Line Higher tier Pulse Packages require a Cellular (GSM) connection as well as a high speed internet connection

ADT’s monitoring stations have hundreds of highly trained employees working 24/7/365. ADT has 6 interconnected monitoring stations. These are strategically located so that no natural disaster or terrorist attack could knock out all 6. If one goes down, then all alarms automatically route to the other 5.

ADT Security System 101 ADT offer 2 types of basic monitoring and 3 levels of Pulse Interactive monitoring Basic Monitoring Types 1) Standard System alerts ADT and ADT calls customer on primary phone # to talk with customer/dispatch authorities if needed or no answer. 2) Two-Way Voice System alerts ADT and ADT launches hands free communication through the speaker/microphone in the keypad to talk with customer/dispatch authorities if needed or no answer.

ADT Security System 101 Pulse Interactive Monitoring
Pulse monitoring allows the customer the ability to access, control and receive notifications via or text from any smart phone using a free app, internet enabled phone using a mobile web address and/or internet connected computer. Can be combined with Door Locks, Cameras and Lamp Modules for home automation and control as well. Pulse monitoring requires cellular (GSM) communication. No land-lines. Customers can arm/disarm and check their system status remotely. Customers can setup and text notifications for events where the police, medics or fire rescue aren’t needed. Examples are: If the gun cabinet is opened ever. When the kids gets home from school at 3pm.
