8 HOW to do data revolution:
Integration of new data along with traditional statistics Increase of data use Collaboration of involved stakeholders innovation and new technologies for data production Better skilled people, better policies, better decisions and a wider participation and accountability Means of data revolution implementation: Integration of new data along with the traditional ones to produce high quality, timely and relevant data for more purposes and users, in particular for encouraging and monitoring sustainable development Increase of data use through increased openness and transparency, in conditions of confidentiality of personal data and respect of human rights, as well as through correct use of data about individuals and groups, minimization of inequality in production, access and use of data Collaboration of involved stakeholders – academia, private sector and civil society and openness for exchange and use of data Exploring opportunities offered by innovation and new technologies for data production Better skilled people, better policies, better decisions and a wider participation and accountability, all these leading to better results for people and planet
