Starting next school year, IB English: Literature will be changed to IB English: Language and Literature
It is still a two year course that you take as a junior and senior
The new course more closely resembles the AP Language and AP Literature classes
Instead of a focus on just literature, the new course will also have a language component, in which students will study how texts and media create arguments and can impact our culture (Similar to AP Lang)

Must take an Accuplacer, SAT or ACT and receive qualifying scores
