The Dashboard is an overview of your business’s vital information and statistics to assist you in assessing the health and well-being of your business at a glance.
All stock sales and purchases from Invoices and Purchase Orders issued respectively, automatically update your stock levels in your Inventory module while the financial aspect of these transactions will simultaneously feed into your Cash Book and onto your Dashboard via the Reports module.

From your issued Invoices and Purchase Orders, the Inventory module will automatically update the stock “On Hand” and what’s “On Order”, making monitoring and managing your stock levels fully automatic and effortless.
However, this is a two-way relationship. In order to produce Quotes, Job Cards, Invoices and Purchases Orders effortlessly using the correct Stock codes and descriptions, you must maintain an accurate Stock Item List.
This is easily done one at a time from the Stock List tab in the Inventory module.

Simply select “Add New Entry” and a “Add New Stock Item” window will open.

Enter the required information for that stock item including its supplier, code, description, sales and purchase prices, and “Save”.

On saving, it will display its details as a final check before closing. When you “Close”, SBEbooks will automatically add the new Stock Item to your Stock List [next slide]

for quick and easy access when generating Quotes, Job Cards, Invoices, Adjustment Notes or Purchase Orders and maintaining accurate stock levels.
From time-to-time you may be required to update your stock levels and account for any discrepancies such as lost, damaged, or returned stock. This is done by conducting a Stocktake.
