A Compound Subject is a subject with two or more nouns or pronouns joined by the word and or another conjunction. Compound subjects share the same predicate.
Example: Dan and Mike went to the store and bought some gum.
Dan- subject
Mike- subject
More than one subject= compound subject

3. Compound predicates
A Compound Predicate is apredicate with two or more verbs joined by the word and or another conjunction. Compound predicates share the same subject.
Example: Harry went to the bathroom and washed his hands.
Harry did two things:
Harry went to the bathroom.
Harry washed his hands.
