3 AS91XX:2009 Transition In support of the IAQG Councils time line and concepts for transition to the 91XX:2009 series of AQMS standards; the OPMT has documented rules for affected stakeholders which will ensure that time lines are met and successful transition occurs. Supplemental Rule 001: Input was received from stakeholders Accreditation Bodies, Certification Bodies, Auditor Authentication Bodies Will be posted to OASIS database and included as an IAQG OPMT Resolution No. 71. (15 Jan 2010)

4 Overview of Rules Re-approval of Accreditation Bodies (AB), Auditor Authentication Bodies (AAB) and Training Provider Approval Bodies (TPAB) by Sector Management Structure Published plan for transition by 01 April 2010 CB accreditation to prior to conducting any 91XX:2009 AQMS assessments Suspension and eventual withdrawal of CB’s that fail to transition. Must use re-authenticated auditors for 91XX:2009 audits Review and classification of all certified organizations (Single vs. Multiple Sites) Approval of Training Providers (TP) by TPAB Auditor Re-authentication Must take sanctioned training from an approved TP Withdrawal from OASIS on July All organizations that have not upgraded to the 91XX:2009 AQMS standards

Training developer selected and under contract. Plexus Corporation SME team to meet with Plexus on January , 2010. Finalize Syllabus & Course Outline Review training developed to date Agree on student assessment process SME training session April 5 – 9, 2010 Development is on track for completion Weekly status meetings Completed by April 30, 2010 All auditors must successfully complete sanctioned training to achieve re-authentication to 9100:2009.

6 Standards Update 9104-1: Globally harmonized standard defining the certification / accreditation process. Draft comment period complete, team completed disposition/ incorporate comments. Ballot 12/31/2009. 9104-2: Globally harmonized standard defining the surveillance and oversight processes. Team has collected comments and is in process of developing first draft. Face to Face meeting in Feb. Expected publication Jan 2011. 9104-3: Globally harmonized standard defining the auditor qualification and auditor training processes. Team has collected comments and is in process of developing first draft. Expected publication Jan Key change is move to a competency based auditor authentication process. Shanya Salamaca (RABQSA) new sub team leader. Standards Updates are the Path to Improvement For use by Working Groups reporting progress IAW IAQG procedure 101 <Fill table with- Red- , EITHER progress is behind the original Programme and no revision has been agreed OR significant problems need to be resolved. Amber- Progress is on target to a revised Programme agreed with the Strategy Stream Leader and Mentor Green- Progress is on target>
