37. How to setup Email Alerts for Intray Approvals
Workflow setup allows the document’s entry into a specific State to generate an to the address seen on the Work Order or Work Request.  The address usually defaults to the Requester’s address.  For example; the Requester when the Work Request is converted into a Work Order or when the Work Order is Complete.
This is not the same as being notified of when you need to login to CHAMPS to approve something.  The following screen shot illustrates the setup required.

            SMTP Password:  This may be blank.
SMTP Port:  Port 25 is usually used for SMTP mail messages but this port may be blocked by your IT department to prevent spam .  Another Port number may be entered as required.
SMTP Server Address:  The named mail Server or IP address.
SMTP SSL?:  A True or False value that indicates Secure Socket Layer encryption is required.
