9 Julius Caesar Politics became dominated by Julius Caesar and General Pompey Julius Caesar took over France after 9 years. Pompey became worried Caesar became too powerful and had the Senate order him to step down as General.

10 Julius Caesar Caesar marched on Rome and beat Pompey
Then went and defeated all the rebellions against him “I came, I saw, I Conquered” He then forced the senate to make him dictator
