His Excellency Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia, has directed the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), to drive the urgent development and installation of 600 MW of solar power. WBG Scaling Solar model formally adopted.
Round 2 (current intention):

Capacity: Project 1 = approx. 70MW, Project 2 = approx. 110MW
Scope: develop, finance, construct, own, operate
