Welcome to The Lake George Harvest Festival. The mission is to engage both locals and tourists to experience the excitement of the crisp Fall and all the unique flavors the season is capable of delivering in fantastic Lake George, NY. The intention is to boost tourism in this beautiful area during this typically slower weekend shoulder season while providing a fun weekend out for kids, adults, travelers and relevant vendors that fit the atmosphere. Over a three day weekend, attendees and their families can experience fall flavors of culinary, libations, crafts, vendors, tourism, entertainment, rides, games and fall fun. A strong focus on fall staple items like pumpkins and apples will set the tone for the environment. NYS craft beers, wineries, dynamic food trucks and vendors that specialize in this season of flavors will have strong presence. 8 Projected Vision of The Village and Outside Events
-Businesses that are opened are expected to be decorated, lit up and festive -Village will be peppered with colorful mums, corn stalks and pumpkins throughout -Scarecrow walk of fame along the lake and big boats should look festive -House of Frankenstein and haunted house should be opened -Parade should be filled with both fall and haunts, lights and performances -Host hotel shall be all decorated and project “harvest like” as should other hotels -Host hotel shall feature harvest specials w/ pumpkin, spices, apple ingredients -10% commission of consumed hotel rooms generated from this event -A portion of all proceeds will go to Autism Speaks -Trolley services are expected to eliminate any clutter, traffic or driving to event -Saturday evening fireworks are also anticipated Tony Morreale - Full Housepitality, LLC 8/1/15
