Background In 2004 INTOSAI adopted its Strategic Plan, which identifies 4 Strategic Goals: Accountability and Professional Standards; Institutional Capacity Building; Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Services; Model International Organization. INTOSAI has set up 4 standing committees referring to strategic goals. INTOSAI WGEA and Regional Working Groups

Help SAIs gain a better understanding of the specific environmental auditing issues; Facilitate exchange of information and experiences among SAIs; Publish guidelines and other informative materials. INTOSAI WGEA and Regional Working Groups

Global Coordinated Audit on Climate Change Project leader: Canada Sub-committee: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, Greece, Indonesia, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, WB Objectives - Support national audits of climate change by SAIs - Coordinate auditing and reporting in order to create the synergy - Build strategic relationships with key international organizations Main clusters - Mitigation - Adaptation The both clusters include as well elements of Science and Technology INTOSAI WGEA and Regional Working Groups
