3. A. Anguish is a God given EMOTION
Anguish comes from Latin word, “angere” = "to choke, squeeze, strangle."

4. B. Anguish can be VALUABLE
Romans 8:18 - Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

5. i. Anguish clarifies what the heart truly worships
Do you worship deliverance or the Deliverer?
ii. Anguish purifies the heart
Do you only see the temporal heartache or the eternal victory?
iii. Anguish motivates the heart to action
Does your anguish cause you to act?
