Necessary Documentation
The following document is essential for the trip.
Parental Consent – Affidavit:
Required by SA Home Affairs in order for
your child to permitted through borders in SA.
These are being handed out tonight so please feel free to fill in and return tonight.
We will fill in passport info etc for you.
This form must be completed and returned to the school by
Wednesday 30 November.
We will then sign in the presence of a lawyer that we have received written permission from you to take your child out of the country and into SA.
If this form is not received and signed by the legal guardian unfortunately your child will not be allowed through SA border control and will therefore have to be removed from the trip.

Passports:
To be allowed through immigration your child’s passport must be valid for a full 6 months after their scheduled date of departure from SA.
Immunisations:
Your child must check with their own GP exactly what immunisations they require for travelling to Kwa-Zulu Natal in SA.
Payments:
Final £200 payment due Friday 25th November.
All prior monies were due to be paid last week.
Any outstanding payments to Mrs Sinclair in the Classroom Assistants office
N.B. Full refunds are not available for withdrawals/removals. As flights have now been booked
Insurance:
Our school policy covers for any illness or accident on the trip but not for any issues arising from pre-existing conditions. You will need your own insurance policy for anything arising from a pre-existing condition.
