A Teacher’s Prayer (1 of 2)
Help me to be a fine teacher, to keep the peace in the classroom, peace between my students and myself, to be kind and gentle to each and every one of my students. Help me to be merciful to my students, to balance mercy and discipline in the right measure for each student, to give genuine praise as much as possible, to give constructive criticism in a manner that is palatable to my students. Dwight
3
A Teacher’s Prayer (2 of 2)
Help me to remain conscientious enough to keep my lessons always interesting, to recognize what motivates each of my students, to accept my students’ limitations and not hold it against them. Help me not to judge my students too harshly, to be fair to all, to be a good role model, but most of all, Lord, help me to show your love to all my students. Amen

Day 1 Homework Discussion
At your table, discuss what you found when you: Did a Learning Styles Inventory with one of your semester 2 classes Did a unit diagnostic for one of your classes What did they know? What misconceptions did you notice? What surprised you? What modifications did you make? Share questions/comments with the whole group Dwight

LUNCH Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts, which we are about to receive from your bounty. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
17
Action: Your Turn Gather in your course groupings
Your group can either: Plan a DI lesson using the sample lessons and blank template Design a Task using GRASPS Dwight
18
Consolidate: Homework for Day 3
Review the resources on the wiki Each person in your group will either teach the planned lesson or administer the designed task. Gather student samples to be used on April 22nd. Come prepared to share what you found. Dwight
