BRRRR! It’s cold especially in the Arctic! The book The Arctic Life discussed how plants, animals and people adapt to life in the Arctic! We read many non-fiction books and passages about Arctic animals. We discussed the main idea and supporting details, non-fiction text features, and facts.
Jan Brett’s The Three Snow Bears made us make a text to text connection with Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We conducted a science experiment to see what effect fresh water and salt water have on ice.
