Agriculture, livestock and fishery production: Agriculture Somalia agriculture provides 60% of the country’s GDP Agriculture provides 50% of Somali's employment Domestic production: maize, sorghum, beans, sesame, ground nuts, bananas, sugar canes, mangos, watermelons, and other vegetables Export production: sesame, bananas, citric oranges, watermelon, and nuts There are four primary agricultural zones in Somalia: Northwest in parts of Awdal and W. Galbeed - rain fed maize and sorghum with some livestock herding Coastal Cowpea Belt Zone in Central and Southern Somalia Shabelle and Juba Riverine Valleys - rain fed and irrigated maize, with sesame cash crops Sorghum Belt in Bay and Bakool Region - rain fed sorghum with livestock production

Livestock Livestock is the largest economic sector In Somalia The largest employers being nomadic in the rural areas The largest exports accounting more than 80% of the total export According to F.A.O report 2015, Somalia exported 5 Million livestock to golf of Arabia ; 4.6 million goats and sheep, 346,000 cattle, and 77,000 camels.
