2
Energy performance of buildings in the Czech Republic
Act No 406/2000 On Energy Management set out particular energy performance requirements, requirements relating to the building energy performance certificate Decree No 78/2013 on the Energy Performance of Buildings methodology to the Energy performance certificates, national nZEB standard and the key deadlines in the nZEB implementation
3
Current Barriers Missing central management of the branch
Low productivity and quality of construction works Pressure on the using of unqualified workers Low interest of youth to work in civil engineering Low motivation of adult to increase their skills and knowledge Unprepared population for using and operating of passive housing Unsatisfied coordination of construction works (poor motivation of workers) Unstable support EE and RES by the government

Objectives of project – IngREes
Increased motivation to invest in competencies through increased market demand in intelligent energy solutions in the sector of buildings; Facilitated investments in competencies through building up legal and financial framework for continuing education and training. Improved competencies of middle and senior level construction professionals through 5 education programmes: Site manager; Construction site supervisor (SK) / Technical supervisor of the builder (CZ); Energy counselor; Architect/Planner; Assessor of the achieved energy efficiency of the buildings. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No
