Running a marathon sounds exciting, yet I will never do it. Tomorrow is the best day ever since I turn 106. The crazy, adorable, little girl came over to my house to play school. I love lasagna; however, I will never learn how to make it since it is so difficult. I love lasagna; therefore, if I continue eating it, I will grow wider than a house. Notice: sentences are complete and they are closely related to each other. - set up lists - sets up a statement, saying, rule I ate these three things before lunch: a candy bar, an entire meatloaf, and a Power bar. Mom gave me only one rule to live by: always remember to keep your good name. Notice: the blue section before the colon can stand by itself. It is NOT a sentence fragment.
