Another covenant – The Law of Moses at Mt. Sinai The “first covenant” Hebrews 8:7, 9:1, etc. It contained the Ten Commandments and other laws given through Moses to the people (sacrifices, tabernacle, moral laws, etc.) Together they are the Law of Moses - Luke 24:44

To bring us to Christ Gal. 3:19-25 The Law of Moses was fulfilled and replaced, but the covenant with Abraham was fulfilled for all

The word of God in His plan
The word of God manifests His power to execute His will. His word reveals His will – 1 Cor. 2:10-16, Eph. 3:3-4 2 Peter 1:3, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – it makes us complete

20
The word of God in His plan
Only God can: Make a seed promise 2000 years before it happens (Gen. 12, Gal. 3) Create a Law through Moses to be fulfilled 1500 years later (Ex. 20, Gal. 3) 1000 years before establish an eternal throne (2 Sam. 7) 700 years before describe how this savior would suffer for our iniquities (Isa. 53) Only God can describe the affairs of man before they happen (Daniel, Isaiah 44:28, 45:1 – Cyrus, etc) As we step back, we see the hand of God at work fulfilling His plan for man’s redemption!
