QBA intro to data science and information management; understanding how to extract knowledge from data through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive and visual analytics
MIS structured data modeling and information management; intro to business intelligence through reporting and dashboards (including visual what-if scenario analysis)
MIS structured, unstructured and streaming data modeling, management and processing (no such thing as big data, just all data); traditional EDW, dimensional and NoSQL categories of DBMS tools to address big data; using visual data discovery tools to help explore big data

Predictive Analytics (QBA) - forecasting methodologies, supervised and unsupervised learning (continuous, classification, clustering)

Marketplace Analytics (MKT) – application project based capstone which assumes a strong understanding of all techniques, methodologies, etc leading up to it; students will address all aspects of analytics working at length with cutting edge visualization tools focusing on disseminating the complete story of the data to support business decision making
