Science Camp November 2013 It is our goal to provide 5th graders with a feeling of ownership in their learning. This hands-on approach is an experience that will last your child a lifetime! Camp will be at Prescott Pines in Prescott, Arizona. November 13, 14, 15 Students and adults are housed in dormitory style cabins. 5/15/2018

Science Camp Details: It is our goal to have every 5th grader attend camp.
Eligibility All 5th grade students are eligible. Behavior If behavior is a concern a parent may be required to chaperone their child while at camp. 5/15/2018

Science Camp Costs -Approximately $175.00 per student
Total cost approximately $24,000.00 -Approximately $ per student -$50 per Chaperone (Can not use tax credit) -Funding Options 1. Tax Credit $200-$400 -$175 tax credit 2. Write a check for $175 to PTO 3. Limited number of scholarships 5/15/2018

There will be a nurse or two on duty Medication can be administered (must complete a form and have signed by doctor) Students will need to pack a lunch the first day of camp. 5/15/2018

6-7am Wake-up/Showers 7-8am Breakfast 8-12pm 4 Class Sessions 12-1pm Lunch 1-5pm 4 Class Sessions 5-6pm Dinner 6:00-8:00pm Supervised activity (Parent Break) 8:00-9:00pm Free time (supervised) 9:00pm In cabins 9:30pm Lights out! 5/15/2018

Must have fingerprints done August 6th at Jacobson 7:15-8:30 am August 13th at Jacobson 2:15-3:30 pm At District Office Attend on Aug 20th 2:00 to the District Office Commit to the entire camp Help in a class Leader or helper Attend a “Class” meeting Cabin Parent 3-5 students 5/15/2018
