OPHELIA’S PLACE Academic Enrichment: Support for success Our drop-in space includes a study area with computers, as well as a printer and various study aids. We offer a homework and study skills group, financial literacy and post-graduation plans workshops, and a professional skills camp. We regularly partner with the Decision Education Foundation to provide workshops and summer camps focused on building good decision-making and divergent thinking skills. Volunteers are available periodically for basic tutoring, resume writing, and college preparation. Girls can also join WACY (Women’s Advisory Council for Youth) to gain volunteer hours and leadership experience through activism, advocacy, and fundraising.
