2. ACTIVITIES IN OUR SCHOOL
At the beginning of the school year, an action aiming at promotion of awareness of human rights began in our school within the Comenius project. The first action prepared by our students was a series of exhibitions on human rights. The exhibitions deal with the problem of violation of human rights, not only in Poland but throughout the world.

3. The contents of the exhibitions include:
A calendar of human rights, presenting information about the upcoming festivals related to the fight for equality.

4. Declaration of Human Rights, outlining the rights that should be available to everyone

5. Examples of violation of human rights and the progress the world is making in combating it.

6. The series of exhibitions prepared by the participants of the project is highly successful. Due to the clear wording, large, often shocking images, it is widely read. Thanks to this, the awareness of human rights among the students of our school is being constantly raised.

7. In addition to the most shocking examples of violation of human rights in the world (especially in North Korea or China), we are also trying to address the same issues in Poland. Unfortunately, violence against the family (usually women and children) is still a problem in our country. In connection with the question of discrimination against women in Poland, our school joined the worldwide campaign "16 Days of Action Against Gender-Based Violence".
