3. Does any one know what to use them for?
An exclamation mark makes a sentence jump off a page and stand out.
They are like strong full stops.

4. There are three different times when you use an exclamation mark
The first one is if the sentence is a command
For example : Go away!

5. The second time you use an exclamation mark is if some one is shouting
For example : I’m over here!

6. For example : It was brilliant!
The final time you need to use an exclamation mark is when someone shows surprise or anger.
For example : It was brilliant!

7. Where which one of these sentences would you put an exclamation mark at the end? - Sam is my best friend - I have brown hair - I hate you The sentence with an exclamation mark would be: I hate you!

8. The tricky part of using exclamation mark is making sure that you don’t use them too often.
Make sure that you don’t use them after every sentence, you want them to make a certain sentence stand out
Also when using exclamation marks make sure you only use one after a sentence. Having any more than that is wrong
