3. What Is Lignin?
Is a polymer found extensively in the cell walls of all woody plants and one of the most abundant natural polymers
It constitutes one-fourth to one-third of the total dry weight of trees and helps bind the cells together and direct water flow
Lignin is nature's cement

5. Environmental Benefits and Uses
Areas plagued with expansive clays can produce better compaction rates and psi ratings
Biofuel companies can turn a cost into a much needed revenue
Does not produce any harmful reactions in the soil

6. SIEVE ANALYSIS TESTING
Helps to filter out any cobblestones and foreign material
Produces a much finer soil specimen for classification
