2 How To Stay In Control False News And Information
Not Giving Personal Details Viruses As we know, viruses can happen anywhere; sometimes people place viruses online, or it happens while uploading something on your device. People send viruses for many reasons, one is to have access to your password. Sometimes, the news you receive is not always the truth. People just make fake news to either earn money, or because they just do it to have a laugh at someone believing news that was fake. When we go online, always remember to use a nickname rather than using your real name so your true identity will remain anonymous. When online, remember to never give personal details such as your name, age, address, date of birth, school and password. Home Page How To Be Safe On Social Media How To Deal With Cyber-Bullying

3 How To Be Safe On Social Media
Not Accepting Any Online Information From Unknown People Go To Safe Websites Don’t Give Any Images When you’re on the internet, always remember to keep your personal photos private and never make the mistake of posting it online. If you post it online, some people might upload it on sites which everyone can see and you might feel embarrassed about it; your family can even see that image too. If someone who you don’t know sends you anything such as a link or a request to tell them your address, don’t do it otherwise your life could be at great risk, and you don’t have anyone’s permission. To avoid seeing inappropriate videos or images, you should always go to websites you know are appropriate and are safe. If by accident you were to go on something inappropriate, always report it to someone you trust or tell your parents. Home Page How To Stay In Control How To Deal With Cyber-Bullying

4 How To Deal With Cyber-Bullying
Report It Tell An Adult Block Them If you’re being threatened or bullied on the internet, always look for the report button and report the person. After you report that person, they may be banned from using the site you’re on or they might be banned from any other site as well as the one you’re on. If the person constantly bullies you or you don’t know how to report, always tell an adult and they would do something about it; they can also report the person for you. You can also tell them what happened and if the adult tells you to never go on that site again, always listen to them, otherwise situations can get serious. If both of the other options are hard to do, then block them. If blocking them doesn’t work, then just delete them from every site they’re on with you.
