STOP—The presence of God is a frightening place for sinners!
Read Exodus 19:17-19a; Revelation 11:19.
How are these illustrated by a STOP sign?
At Sinai, the people were frightened because of the powerful manifestations of God’s holiness that included the shaking of the earth, fire, smoke, and trumpet sounds.

At Mt. Sinai, it was clear that coming into God’s presence was frightening!
Today, however, we have been granted access to a holy God, even though we are no more deserving than the Israelites at Sinai.

YIELD—We must admit we are sinful, unworthy of standing before a holy God.
Leave this slide displayed while students explain salvation through Jesus to each other in pairs.
ONE WAY—We need a go-between to take us to Heaven. Jesus is that only way.
