Logics for DWS
Request:
Waiver can be applied when booking is in confirmed status.
Waiver can be applied by Booking agency/Issue Agency/Document Agency or agency controlling locations that are involved as load port, discharge port & delivery.
The FIRST waiver applied for a shipment is always in Days.
The SECOND waiver can be applied only after EMS movement entry for that container is GIM & demurrage for that shipment is calculated.
The Second Waiver request can be created in form of Amount or %.
Waiver number gets generated only after request is submitted.
Waiver request is closed once agency has confirmed the debit note to Line.
Approval:
Approval number will get generated when line accepts the waiver request.
Approval number will get generated when Agency accepts the counter offer made by line.

3. CRA – Auto generated Waiver
Waivers are auto created and approved for below two types of Shipment:
Shipment based on Corporate Rate agreement
Shipment with Intransit port.
CRA Shipment
Demurrage waiver created and auto approved only when CRA origin & delivery ports match with booking origin & delivery ports.
Waiver will auto generate and auto approve only when CRA attached to booking will have free days mentioned.
Auto Waiver for CRA will get auto created and auto approved only after Bill of lading is issued.
Demurrage waiver to be auto cancelled when Bill of lading is cancelled through approved correction note.
Auto approve when agents accept line’s COUNTER offer.
Part-lot Bills Scenario:
When Same container is split in multiple Bills of lading, DWS system will auto apply & auto approve the demurrage waiver when FIRST part-lot bill is issued.
When Multiple containers are split having individual bills of lading as Part-lot, DWS will auto apply and auto approve waiver for each part-lot bill when issued.

4. Intransit – Auto generated Waiver
Waivers are auto created and approved for below two types of Shipment:
Shipment based on Corporate Rate agreement
Shipment with Intransit port.
Intransit Shipment
Intransit port can be defined at Booking stage or at Bill of lading stage.
Demurrage waiver will be auto created and auto approved only when bill of lading is issued with Intransit Port.
Free days applicable to each Intransit Port are pre-defined by Line commercial team.
Demurrage waiver to be auto cancelled when Bill of lading is cancelled through approved BL Cancel type correction note.
Auto Approved waiver can also get amended when COD correction note is raised to delete/change Intransit port.
Part-lot Bills Scenario:
When Same container is split in multiple Bills of lading, DWS system will auto apply & auto approve the demurrage waiver when FIRST part-lot bill is issued.
When Multiple containers are split having individual bills of lading as Part-lot, DWS will auto apply and auto approve waiver for each part-lot bill when issued.
