2. The Democratic Republic of Congo
This is a country in Africa. It is a very poor country in some parts but in others it is very rich. There are school just like here in America. Mostly boys, however, attend school because the girls are busy at work all day.

3. Liberia
Life is very dangerous in Liberia. The speaker came from a very poor part of this country where people would buy dogs to protect their families from lions. Everyone in the families had to work. Some parts of Liberia, however, can be very rich.

4. Uganda
Uganda is a very poor country in Africa. Everyone must work for food, shelter, and safety for their family. Music and arts, such as poetry, are very popular in Uganda. The speaker from Uganda performed an interactive song on the drums. It was very entertaining and said a lot about Uganda’s culture.

5. Africa
Africa, in some parts, is not modernized at all. This makes living conditions very unfavorable. People that live in certain countries, such as Congo, Uganda, or Liberia, face hardships everyday. Life in Africa is very different from life here in the United States. Most children from the US cannot even imagine the lives of children in Africa
