CREATIVE WRITING VERBS Verbs are actions that say what you do.
You may know many verbs (go, get, take), but sometimes if you add just one small word (a preposition) it changes the meaning! I go to Grammar Class. I go without Grammar Class. I go over Grammar Class notes. The verb “go without” means to not have, and “go over” is review.

TELL ME THE STORY You are going to write 5 paragraphs ( sentences) about what happened in the short movie. There are three (3) parts to the movie: Before the girlfriend With/After the girlfriend Back with the girlfriend and beyond Use your phrasal verbs to tell us what happened in each part.

TELL ME THE STORY Introduction: Introduce the movie “Feast”.
Body 1: Tell me about Winston’s life before the girlfriend. Body 2: Tell me about Winston’s life with/after the girlfriend. Body 3: Tell me about Winston getting her back, and life after. Conclusion: Tell me the overall lesson.
