1. iBELIEVE Foundation Providing Appalachian Youth Opportunity!

2. History and Mission
Founded in 2011 by Patrick Klein- native of Belpre, Ohio and is currently the Associate Head Coach for the Ohio State Women’s Basketball Team.
The iBELIEVE Foundation strives to provide experiential learning opportunities for the development of 21st Century Skills such as leadership, communication, and problem solving.
Ultimately, their goal is to increase collegiate attendance and retention in the Appalachian communities of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The iBELIEVE Summer Workshop is their signature program, designed to provide the opportunity for high school students to develop their leadership skills and to connect with other students from across the region.

3. iBELIEVE’s Impact
When iBELIEVE held their first Summer Workshop at West Liberty University in 2012, there were 36 students in attendance.
This summer, iBELIEVE hosted 6 different workshop weeks located at West Liberty University (WV), Muskingum University and Wright State University (OH). Over 600 high school students from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia were in attendance!
iBELIEVE has expanded the opportunities for leadership development by offering programming throughout the school year such as Regional Leadership Summits, iLEAD Conferences, and 2-day Retreats.
ALL iBELIEVE events are FREE for students to attend. The only cost involved is transportation to and from the events!

4. There are currently 37 high schools from 28 counties in West Virginia participating in iBELIEVE’s programs!
We are inviting 23 NEW West Virginia High Schools to join our program for the 2017 Summer Workshops!
There will be 3 camps located in West Virginia during the 2017 Summer – 2 at West Liberty University and 1 pending at West Virginia State University.
