First step is to look into your options. There are Colleges throughout the province to consider when you plan for your program(s).

15 Using the Ontariocolleges
Using the Ontariocolleges.ca website, look into colleges that offer programs of interest to you. Make a "wish list' to help keep your choices organized. Look into programs and prerequisites Highly Competitive programs (requirements) may require interviews, portfolios, auditions…Apply early and be aware of those additional dates. Applied Degree programs (4U/M courses required) Interviews/portfolios...

16 The application processing fee is $95
The application allows you to choose 5 programs with no more than 3 at any one college The application works best in the following browsers: Internet Explorer 9, 10, 11 Firefox latest version Chrome latest version Safari 7 + & iOS 7+ Do not apply for more than 3 programs per college-colleges want to see that you are focussing on a program not a college. Also make sure you have the proper browser. The program works best with the four listed.

18 On the OCAS website, click the ‘apply’ button and from there click “apply now”

23 Before you choose programs complete the sections on the left under “my profile” Save as you go through each section

College would like you to focus on certain programs. You are only able to apply for a maximum of 5 programs. Record your account number as you will require it if you need support with you application.

27 You can search for the program here if you haven’t already researched your programs on ontariocolleges.ca.

This section allows you to order and edit your choices. Once you have chosen your programs click “done adding”

29 Once you have completed the application you can process it with your payment. It is a good idea to print a copy of the payment confirmation. Pay with credit card, online banking or at your local bank with your college account statement

31 The “View Offers” section is where you look and accept offers.

Important Dates: February 1, 2017 All applications received by this date will be given equal consideration by the colleges. This is also the earliest date the colleges will issue an offer of acceptance and the earliest date an applicant may confirm an offer. May 1, 2017 Applicants must confirm their acceptance of an offer of admission by this date. (Note: Offers may be issued after this date, check your offer letter for details.) Mid June, 2017 Earliest date colleges may require tuition. You may want to print off a checklist to help you. Academic Support Services If you have an IEP, contact the Counselling and Disabilities Department at the college/university in regard to your IEP and/or Psycho-educational Report before you receive an offer to determine what is required. Need support services? They are available. It is your responsibility to find out about them. (set up IEP assistance in first year) If you have an IEP the College will not seek you out to offer support. You will be required to get accepted on your own merit. Every College is different with regards to the Psycho-educational Report !!!! Do your research!!! Go as soon as you confirm acceptance and set up IEP assistance in first year
