It is far into the future and designer planets are the new cool products.
Your team has to design a planet capable of sustaining life and market it to a buyer.
Let your imagination be your guide! However, you must work in the realm of real science!

6. Task
Your task is to design and market a planet that can support life. You will work in groups of 4 and each of you will have a task:
1.) Astronomer:  Decide where the planet is located, what type of star(s) it orbits
2.) Planitary specialist: What type of planet is it- what are the physical features and the chemistry of the planet.
3.) Biologist:  Learn the necessities of life. Describe the flora and fauna of your planet
4.) Marketer: Design the marketing campaign for your planet.

7. Task cont.
Each group will turn in a Final report detailing information about your planet and present a final presentation- this is where you can get creative! It can be a movie, a powerpoint, a website, anything that markets your planet to prospective buyers.
You will give a 5 minute presentation about your planet
All team members are required to contribute to the final project.
