1 Chemistry Lab Safety Rules

2 I. Safety Rules Safety goggles must be worn during experiments at all times. Wear sensible clothing (long pants, enclosed shoes, and no fuzzy clothing). Also tie back long hair.

3 Safety Rules 2. Know the locations for the fire extinguishers, fire alarms, first aid kit, eye washes and showers. Wash eyes for at least 15 minutes.

4 Safety Rules When heating liquids in test tubes, never point the tube toward yourself or anyone else. Rotate test tubes over the flame.

5 Safety Rules 5. Do not perform unauthorized experiments. Only work in the laboratory when supervised by your teacher.
