Data Converter (TFC) Tutorial
This tutorial demonstrates all the main stes of demonstrates typical procedure of converting row experimental data (on the example of adiabatic data) Follow the instructions printed in bold and underlined Begin

This data set was loaded from the Excel book
This data set was loaded from the Excel book. One should remember that TFC can read only data from the first page of the book. TFC automatically recognizes the data table and highlights the first and last table lines. As additional information in the original data can be arranged in arbitrary manner it has to be defined manually As soon as data table was recognized one can proceed with the next step – filling the Header Click Next

1. To retrieve info from data file Click View Source data Button
2. Fill necessary fields manually. Note – phi-factor should be defined if it cannot be calculated from mass heat capacities of sample and bomb. Otherwise it will be calculated in ADaExpert ARC Brown Decomposition of 20% of DTBP in toluene DTBP 17.05 3.559 0.49 2.14 3 4 3. Press Next

Select appropriate separator and Press OK
If separator between data columns coincides with the default one the first data line appears in Source Sample. If not – Click Settings to adjust separator

Click Save to save new Template
Repeat the same procedure for sample T and Pressure If Template is correct, Click Yes Now you can assign the Template name and save it for further use. Type the text in the edit ARC data Click Next

Click Return Converted data will be transferred to the data processing program and TFC will be closed

End of the Tutorial. Now you can repeat data conversion by yourself - you can use your own data to master the TFC Data Converter.
