3. Why a Civil Engineer?
Salary is ideal = Approx. 80k a year can increase

Undergraduate Program at UBC - leads to the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering
First two years consist of fundamental courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and structures
The second year program introduces students to civil engineering through a design course
In the third and fourth years, students are exposed to a variety of sub-disciplines, including environmental, geotechnical, hydro-technical, structural, and transportation engineering, also exposed to hands on experiences in Lab. Work
