Identify the Ventilator and its Parts
Step 1 Identify the Ventilator and its Parts Identify the ventilator. Identify the breathing circuit. Identify the power supply. Identify the oxygen hose. November 9, 2009 Identify the air hose.

Step 2 Place the small clear tube onto the exhalation valve.

Step 3 Place the clear blue tube with elbow onto the open port next to the valve. November 9, 2009

Place the clear blue tube onto the transducer valve.
Step 4 Place the clear blue tube onto the transducer valve. November 9, 2009

Place the small clear tube onto the exhalation valve.
Step 5 Place the small clear tube onto the exhalation valve. November 9, 2009

Place the breathing circuit onto the gas out
Step 6 Place the breathing circuit onto the gas out (to patient) valve. November 9, 2009

Step 7 Attach the oxygen hose to the valve labeled oxygen in. Make sure it is tightly secured to the valve. November 9, 2009

Step 8 Attach the air hose to the valve labeled air in. Make sure it is tightly secured to the valve. November 9, 2009

Step 9 Insert the power cord into the slot as seen above. Line up the two red dots to insert correctly. November 9, 2009
